Light as a tool to make production more precise: the case of Planta

“We need artificial light to make production more precise. Greenhouse technology is quite expensive and for this reason we have been discussing it for many years, hearing from different companies, without however finding the correct combination. Then, through the collaboration with GrowLine, we achieved the result in an unexpectedly simple and fast way”.

In the interview published on Agriflortec, Planta‘s CEO Aldo Staboli talks about the collaboration with our company.

“We immediately agreed on the idea of using light”.

GrowLine’s approach is to listen to the customer’s needs, creating a specific and tailor-made product. Our triple expertise (agronomic, technological and industrial) allows us to embrace multiple needs, from various points of view.

What are the peculiarities of the Planta project?

Lamp characteristics

Energy saving

It was not only the spectrum that had an impact, but also the shape of the lamp and its arrangement in the greenhouse, which in this case guarantees a continuous line of light, symmetrical with respect to the work surface.

We have increased the lighting surface, but without the need to increase the energy output.

Dedicated light source

Working comfort

With sodium lamps a percentage of heat is dispersed into the environment, which however is difficult to control. With LED technology, each system has its own precise function, which can be modulated according to needs.

The light spectrum is designed not only for the required objective, but also to make the environment more comfortable for those who work there.
